Transportation
Location of the University
The University of Tokyo (Hongo Campus) is located at Bunkyo-ku in Tokyo.
The stations near the University are Ueno and Okachimachi on the JR Yamanote line,
Ochanomizu on the JR Chuo line, and
Keisei-Ueno on the Keisei line.
When you come from these stations, it is convenient to take a taxi.
The nearest subway stations are Hongo-san-chome on the Marunouchi line, Nezu and
Yushima on the Chiyoda line, and Todai-mae on the Nanboku line.
You can walk to the University from these subway stations.
Koshiba Hall is located on the second floor of
Faculty of Science Bldg. No.1
just behind the clock tower called Yasuda-koudou.
- From Narita Airport

It is most convenient to take a Keisei line train from Narita airport. Please take a limited express "Sky liner" train to its terminal, Keisei Ueno Station, More information about the Keisei line is available on the Internet. You can walk to Hotel Park Side from the station in about 4 minutes.
- From Tokyo Station
Please take the Marunouchi subway line to Hongo-san-chome, the fourth step. The route from the JR station to the Tokyo subway station is complicated. We recommend you to print out the map and take it with you.
