29/August/2010 - 1/September/2010
Research Center for the Early Universe (School of Science, University of Tokyo) hosts "RESCEU/DENET Summer School: Dark Energy in the Universe" in Koch, Japan. The workshop consists of two parts; in the first part (29/August) we will have some progress reports (in Japanese) of the RESCEU researches and 6 Japanese oral talks, and, in the second part (30-31/August and 1/September) we will have lectures by the 3 invited lecturers (1h * 3, i.e., 3h in total for each lecture) and 9 English oral talks. Therefore, we recommend that foreign participants join us from the reception dinner on 29/August (from about 20:00, at the hotel), although of course we welcome you to join us from the first Japanese session.
#Travel Information# We assume that you fly to Narita International Airport (New Tokyo International Airport). However, there are not any direct flights from Narita to Kochi, and therefore, we are assuming that you arrive at Narita the day before (on 28/August) and have 1 night stay around Narita/Tokyo. Then, you gather in Haneda Airport (Tokyo International Airport, about 60 min from Narita) on next day morning (on 29/August morning) , and move to Kochi together with some graduate students of RESCEU using domestic flights (JAL or ANA). We think that this is the best (easiest) way to Kochi, although of course you can choose your preferred arrival/departure date and/or you can make your travel by yourself. Anyway, please send your itinerary (or, copy of your e-ticket if possible) to us (inada__at__resceu.s.u-tokyo.ac.jp or resceu-sec__at__resceu.s.u-tokyo.ac.jp, convert __at__ to @) when you complete your travel plan.
