Name: Katrine Skovbo Institution: Institute of Physics and Astronomy Title: Analytical Approaches to Non-Linear Structure Formation Key Words: large-scale structure, cosmological perturbations, power spectrum, higher order statistics Abstract: As future galaxy surveys will measure the statistics of the large scale structure of the universe with unprecedented precision it becomes increasingly important to be able to predict the matter power spectrum and higher order spectra arising from different cosmological models analytically. One approach is to utilize tools from quantum field theory to define renormalization group equations for the relevant quantities and thereby resum an infinite class of Feynman diagrams. I will present this method and compare to other analytical approaches.
